After the initial concepts, we both agreed it didn't feel right to lean into the classics of opera. It needed to be contemporary and portraying the unique voice of a mezzo-soprano.
hereon a new discovery phase began into portraying waves of sound, but in a way that felt calm and not necessarily looking something from a soundcloud wave.
The connection between glass, symmetry and refractions felt natural to the visualization of sounds, and we knew that this could be aninmated, printed and digitizied. This was the flexibility we were looking for and still portraying the communication while keeping it original.
